Just had to re-qualify for my enhanced concealed carry permit with about twenty other shooters. Twice these piece of junk Glocks, two separate ones, jammed like this. Stay away from Glock.

Really wish they’d call me back. Emailed them a few days ago and haven’t heard anything. On hold for hours and got in the queue. NOT VERY SATISFIED at this time.

I've tried the VNSH holster and I'm honestly super impressed. I think just a solid shoulder holster is my best option at this point, otherwise just my regular old belt with an IWB holster and suspenders to keep the bloody trousers up as I carry my two extra magazines in my left cargo pocket. I expect if I were as slim and trim as I was back in Seal training it would actually be functional. After two separate breaks of my back and recent stress and a guaranteed uptick of cortisol and tacking on some stupid shit unhealthy weight recently. In the end the VNSH holster is utter shite for my needs.

In my case I had to move the rear sight all the way to the right to make it shoot 'straight'. Is this a problem with the sight or the rifle or is it just normal behavior?

Never had a belly band style holster that i really liked. Having said that; the only one I've ever owned was from Crossbreed. The backing of the kydex started coming off and the Seans started to frey just getting it adjusted. After about a month it got so bad that it would fold up on itself and dig into my waist line. I gave them a 2 or 3 star review which anytime i checked was never posted on their site. That was about 7 or 8 years ago. Now i carry aiwb using a regular kydex holster and a Kore belt. Infinitely more comfortable.

I guess this is what became of the old Roto-Lok system, quite an improvement :)

Well done. When swinging a baseball bat, and most other grip situations in life, 50% of squeezing force comes from the little and ring fingers, surprisingly. So, your insights on training out that natural tendency to avoid the bias toward low shooting is particularly helpful.

I've got a bum 13 rounder shield plus mag too. Will not take 13. 12 is almost impossible. Haven't figured out why. Just wanted to chime in with a like issue.

Ah.....another example of a person who is more quailified to be a Secret Service officer than are currently used on Trump's detail. The qualification I am referring to is his ability to holster his weapon accurately every time.

I've seen that jerk back in lots of videos & never knew why they did that. It didn't make sense. Maybe someone did it & everyone copied it thinking they were supposed to do that.

Bringing in tje gun quickly might actually have a purpose. There might be lot of other people and some of them not friendly to you. Its important to keep control of the gun which is harder to do the farther it is from the body. You can also use you elbows as a way to fend off those trying to disarm you.

Well sorta! I was taught the Weaver is a grip to manage recoil, not a stance. The history is a cop thing that don't translate. The cop has a bladed interview stance & cops draw off the bladed interview stance. Then came the modified Weaver which is less bladed & your feet are, where your feet are, when you draw. Thinking of the Weaver more as a grip, you can use the Weaver when sitting down. Back to standing. Your feet are at where ever they arr, you still need to bend your knees & lower your body & bend at the wast to lean forward. Because COM is lower on the target than if you stood tall. If you stand tall with your pistol straight out, you'll shoot over COM. So you need to lower your body to point the pistol straight out. Weaver grip is still the same. The arm with the pistol is straight out & the support arm the elbow is bent & pointed down because your managing recoil. Your shoulders can be bladed or squared off. Thay's the way I was taught & it works for me & that's all that matteres!

I watch people in the shop I work at do it all the time do the quick jerk forward presenting guns when looking at new guns. The guy I work with does it all the time. I'm waiting for one to come out of someone's hands, then hit the floor. I remember watching a Clint Smith video where he explains not to jerk the gun forward bescue he has seen guns go flying down range when people's hands are sweaty.

Excellent video with good, solid advice on what constitutes a good carry gun. Happy to see the two guns that are in my EDC rotation made the list! 😎 Most of the time my Walther PDP Full size 5 inch with the Holosun SCS optic is on my belt. When I feel like going with iron sights, my Canik Elite Combat won a spot on my belt. I have yet to find any other out of the box gun with as fine of a trigger. Even compared to my Walther believe it or not.
